TUSCALOOSA – Last month, at the AlabamaGermany Partnership (“AGP’) board meeting in Birmingham, the board of directors approved JMF shareholder Bobby Ingram as its new Chairman. Bobby will chair the group for the next two years, after years of board service to the organization. The AGP supports relationships and friendships between organizations and individuals with ties to Alabama and Germany, to improve business opportunities and foster cultural exchange. The membership is comprised of German companies located in Alabama, companies and entities conducting business with German companies, and state academic and cultural institutions interested in German culture and language. AGP is an affiliate of the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Southern United States.
As the Chair of the AGP board, Ingram looks forward to working diligently on educational, cultural and economic development opportunities for Alabama and German companies.
“Our firm is committed to continuing to serve German-owned business companies and those Alabama companies that work with German companies. I am pleased to lead that effort. We will work to honor and further improve the long-standing relationship between Alabama and Germany. This increased role with the AlabamaGermany Partnership is another way we can better serve this growing community,” Ingram said.
Ingram is a shareholder of JamisonMoneyFarmer PC and is also the International Practice Group leader for the accounting firm. Ingram and the firm have long provided specialized international accounting services to companies in the US that have German ties.
