College graduates have the wonderful opportunity to work in a team atmosphere on a variety of engagements. These engagements include: tax return preparation, assisting with tax compliance and strategy development, providing accounting and financial reporting through audit, review and compilation services, and working on special engagements through agreed upon procedures and consulting. Through all of these projects a new member of the JMF team will work closely with other staff, seniors, managers, and even shareholders. Staff members personally work with clients and therefore have access to extensive web research to maintain competence in our clients’ business areas. These hands on experiences are just a part of the investment JMF makes in the professional careers of its staff.

Work-life balance takes teamwork!

JMF also offers spring internships to give students a hands-on experience of “real world” accounting. Interns will be introduced to the firm’s software programs and will perform entry level audit procedures and prepare tax returns as well as assist firm staff on more challenging engagements.

Interns will experience in-depth training on all of JMF’s programs and procedures. Following the training each intern will have more experienced staff available to assist them with their work.

Interns will have the opportunity to be exposed to a variety of work that will provide them with a well-rounded intern experience. Interns will also work directly with a variety of JMF employees – from shareholders to staff and everyone in between.
