Bryan Chandler of JamisonMoneyFarmer PC has been elected as vice chairman and chairman elect to CPAmerica International’s board of directors. CPAmerica International is a member-driven association of large independent CPA firms.

Bryan R. Chandler, Managing Shareholder of JamisonMoneyFarmer PC in Tuscaloosa, Ala., has been elected to the vice chair/chair-elect position. Chandler joined JamisonMoneyFarmer (JMF) in 1978, became a shareholder in 1985 and has served as the firm’s managing shareholder since 2005. He also  leads the JMF German Automotive Manufacturing and Suppliers strategic initiative. After earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama, he became a certified public accountant, a certified financial planner and a personal financial specialist. He has served in numerous local leadership positions, including past chairman and current board member of the Tuscaloosa County Industrial Development Authority, past member of the Tuscaloosa City Board of Education, and past board member and chairman of the Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra. He is a member of First United Methodist Church where he has served in various leadership roles including Lay Leader and Chairman of the Administrative Board. Natives of Hale County, Chandler and his wife Theresa have three children and three grandchildren.

David J. Nissen, leading partner of Mueller & Co. LLP in St. Charles, Ill., is the new chair of the board. He succeeds 2012 chair, Scott T. Wallace, managing director of Arizona-based Wallace, Plese + Dreher, LLP.

The new board will have its first meeting of the year at CPAmerica’s office in Gainesville, Florida on Jan. 9-10 to discuss 2013 initiatives and other long-term goals.
