The 2011 Sales Tax Holiday is scheduled for August 5th-7th.  Municipalities have until July 6th to notify the Alabama Department of Revenue regarding participation.  Currently, the Cities of Tuscaloosa, Northport and Birmingham are participating as well as Tuscaloosa County.
