Tuscaloosa, Alabama – Managing Shareholder Bryan Chandler of JamisonMoneyFarmer PC is pleased to announce the promotion of Kim Smith as shareholder. Kim joins twelve other shareholders in managing one of the state’s top ten CPA firms.

Kim joined JMF in 1997 after working as a Revenue Examiner for the Alabama Department of Revenue. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama and is a member of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA), The ASCPA State Taxation Committee, The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Business Council of Alabama’s Taxation Committee.

Kim focuses on providing tax planning and compliance services to businesses and individuals with multi-state operations. With over 20 years of accounting experience, she assists clients with corporate, partnership, and individual income tax return reporting, IRS and State tax audit representation, sales and use tax audit representation and compliance issues, and individual and business tax planning.

In 2005 Kim moved to Selma, Alabama and opened and still manages the JMF location there. She is a member of the Selma Rotary Club, Selma/Dallas County Chamber of Commerce and a graduate of Leadership Selma/Dallas County. In 2003 and 2004 she received the Distinguished Service Award from the West Alabama Chamber of Commerce. Kim is formerly Kim Bannerman from Tuscaloosa. She and husband Ken Smith live in Valley Grande outside of Selma.
