 JamisonMoneyFarmer PC is pleased to announce that Lynn M. Osborn, CPA has been admitted as shareholder in the firm effective January 1, 2017.

Managing Shareholder Scott Goldsmith of JamisonMoneyFarmer PC (“JMF”) is pleased to announce the promotion of Lynn M. Osborn as shareholder. Lynn joins 14 other shareholders at one of the state’s top certified public accounting and advisory firms. JMF has offices in Tuscaloosa, Selma, and Birmingham.

Lynn M. Osborn joined the firm in 1995 and has over 21 years of experience in public accounting.  She is a member of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA). She also holds the Fundamentals of Forensic Accounting Certificate.

“Lynn has been a tremendous part of our team for years, and we are happy that she will continue to do so now, as a shareholder,” Scott Goldsmith stated.  “Her willingness to take on new, challenging projects with vigor sets a great example for our entire firm.”

Mrs. Osborn is a leader in JMF’s audit practice and is part of the Firm’s Manufacturing and International core practice group.  She provides audit and advisory services for manufacturing and distribution businesses with a history of an emphasis on automotive manufacturers formed by inbound foreign investment.  She also has experience in IFRS conversions for first time adopters of international standards.  Along with performing and controlling full audits, she performs risk assessments, assessments of internal controls, and accounting process evaluations.

“I’m happy to continue the legacy of serving excellent clients and to take an even greater leadership role with our firm,” Osborn added.

Lynn is a graduate of Tuscaloosa Country High School and the University of Alabama.  She is married to Derek Osborn, and they have two children, Savannah and Anica. She is a graduate of Leadership Tuscaloosa and is a mentor with C&BA’s Women’s Initiative, while also teaching children financial literacy through Junior Achievement.
