As you probably have heard in the press recently some of Alabama’s new immigration law has been blocked and some is still in place. Each employer will be required to sign up for E-Verify by April 1, 2012. Businesses who have state contracts, grants or incentives must enroll by January 1, 2012. JamisonMoneyFarmer PC recommends waiting until the deadline to sign up for E-Verify (in case of any last minute changes in the law). Attached are some guidelines and instructions to assist you in the sign up process.
